Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You had pneumonia and now you are having chest pain, breathing difficulty, fever, sweating etc even after taking treatment for pneumonia.
So possibility of either worsening of underlying pneumonia or development of post infectious bronchitis is more.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Repeat chest x ray to rule out worsening of Pneumonia.
3. PFT (pulmonary function test) for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
You may need higher antibiotic if it is pneumonia.
You will need inhaled bronchodilator (formoterol or Salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) (fluticasone or budesonide) if it is bronchitis.
Don't worry, you will be alright. First diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
