What Causes Severe Lower Back Pain?

I have the feeling of a large brick in my tailbone/lower back area that hurts most of the time, when I stand from a sitting position it takes a minute for the feeling of fullness to adjust to the standing position, when I lie down and turn over from left to right, I feel the large (thing) flop from one side to the other. I just had a colonoscopy and had 2 polyps removed and have been told I have diverticulosis. Could this be a symptom of diverticulosis?

Hi
Thanks for your query on HCM
This could be because of diverticulosis but not so serious
I would advise such patients in my clinic for an MRI to be done to rule out disc prolapse
book an appointment with your doctor for thorough check up
wish you good health
Regards
