General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

First, we should determine if you really have diabetes or not.
So, need to run a few diagnostic tests including:
- Fasting blood sugar
- Oral glucose tolerance test
- HbA1C test
- Urine analysis
- Complete blood count
- Liver/kidney function test
- Lipid profile testing
- Thyroid function test (TSH, T4)

After evaluating these findings, we can give the final conclusion for you being a diabetic or not. Please try to fast at least for 8 hours before going for the tests. Discuss this further with your primary physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
