What Causes Severe Itching And Pain All Over The Body?

My 18 year old son has a severe itch/ burning problem. The thing is , there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it happens. Often, but not always, physical activity causes it, he says it is very painful. It last for a few minutes most of the time. Any ideas?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
During Physical activity the metabolism of body increases that leads to increase in body temperature. The increase in body temperature stimulates the sweat gland through stimulating autonomic nervous system in order to bring core temperature to normal. The sudden opening of sweat glands causes burning sensation and itching.
Hope it helps best.
