What Causes Severe Headache With Abdominal Pain And Sore Throat?
Hello, my 10 year old daughter has been fairly healthy in the past. She is 68 lbs & 48 inches tall. Yesterday she returned home from school not feeling well, complaining of a headache, stomach & throat hurting & she had a fever of 102.2. I gave her jr advil and her symptoms reduced with a nap but returned after she woke up. She was able to sleep well during the night. When she woke up this morning she has a fever of 101.4 & still complaining of the same symptoms. As the day went on, her temp decreased to normal 98.6 but complaining with the same symptoms. This is 2 weeks to the day that she had this same thing happen, with fever, stomach, throat & headache. I didn t take her to the doctor because of the short time that she had these sypmtoms but I m more concerned since this happened again. Any suggestions?

Hello,
It may be a viral fever or malarial fever or sinus headache or pharygitis. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use paracetamol 15-20 mg per kg per day. three times in a day.
Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 375 twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
