What Causes Severe Headache Behind The Eye With Mastoid Effusion?
My husband had an MRI with & w/o contrast and was diagnosed with Right Mastoid effusion. He gets a head ache behind his right eye. Sometimes severe pain that puts him down with extreme congestion on the right side. Pain may last for a couple of hours. What is this exactly. He is on augmentin 2 times a day for 20 days to see if this stops the head aches. If this does not work what is the next step for treatment?
