What Causes Severe Fatigue After Thyroid Removal?

I had my thyroid removed in March. My doctor has prescribed 125 mcg of Levothyroxin, but I m still exhausted. My daughter takes Cycomel - she had her thyroid removed. Could this possibly be the problem with me? My doctor has ordered only TSH and T4 tests.

Hi. Thanks for postingon hcm. I can see that your thyroid is removed and replaced by thyroxine usually it takes some time around 2 to 3 months for the hormones to reach normal levels this is the reason you are feeling tired this will come to normal one hormones are normal. Sometimes low iron levels in body also could be a reason to be on safe side I would request my patients to get the hb levels done. Hope I answered your question.
