What Causes Severe Dizziness?

i have been having bowel movements midday and i feel faint and disoriented during and after. i am not constipated and i do not push while going. today i had a disoriented/almost fainting episode that lasted for about 1 hour after my bowel movement. i will say it scared me.

Your symptoms could be related to vaso-vagal syncope or dehydration. Have you measured your blood pressure values?
Low blood pressure could be the cause of your troubles.
I recommend you to monitor your blood pressure values and heart rate. Taking plenty of water and increase salt intake can help.
If the problem persists, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests (complete blood count, blood electrolytes, kidney and liver function tests, resting ECG).
