What Causes Severe Body Pain On One Side Of The Body?
I have body aches on one side of my body---I m fully mobile and not interfering with my day to day but neck is super stiff and ache extends down left side of back and shoulder---been going on for 4 months... Been treating with massage, yoga and chiropractic but no real relief. I m 100% healthy otherwise.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
How old are you? Are you diabetic or smoker?? You may be suffering from cervical muscle spasm or cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy or neck muscle spasm with osteoarthritis or frozen shoulder of joint. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. You have to take X-ray of cervical spine and X-ray of left shoulder joint. Use neck and shoulder support, use physical therapy, use cold and warm compression. If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
