What Causes Severe Bloating, Tight Chest Pressure And Reduced Bowel Movement?
I have been feeling very bloated for the last week and a half. I had diarrhea last week and that was the last time i had a bowel movement i believe. I have a BM very 4 other days. Lately i have been bending down to tie my classmates shoes and i get this tight feeling in my stomach almost as if i cant breath from bending and tight chest pressure. I am 23 years old and i am not overweight just heavily bloated and am not sure why this is happening.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis. Therapy with proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole will be helpful for this. Esomeprazole is available as over the counter in brands like nexium. This should be taken 1 hour prior to break fast. Avoid carbonated drinks ,fatty, greasy foods and junks. Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing not clear. Thanks.
