I have been suffering fm backpain for last two years which is so severe during my menstural time. Sometimes it prolongs after that also. Did gynaec check ups and everything normal. Recently pain starts towards the centre of hip and spreads to lower abdominal side(left). Also I feel pain on my left leg. For the last 3 weeks much restriction in bending etc..one day I felt some sort of numbness under the feet and it disappeared. Now under medication. Doctor said swelling on back joint. Another Dr said some sort of gap near the lower disc. Could you pls tell me what my actual pblm is?
I have studied your case. Due to compression of this nerve root there can be pain in your back.
I will advise you to do MRI spine For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started. Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief. I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
