What Causes Severe Anxiety Along With Elevated Heart Rate?

I'm experiencing an extremely huge amount of accumulated stress that was made much worse today, I have panic and anxiety disorder but this is much more physical then I've ever had in my life. My heart is beating hard and painfully, pulse is over 110. Shoulder, neck and left bicep ache. Clammy feeling, light headed, can't think straight, faint and weak. Body aches.
Already on disability for mental and physical issues, like sacrioliatice, failed back syndrome, torn L4 and L5 vertabrea, just had two surgery's since April. First a lapriscopic surgery for hemorrgetic ovarian cyst, second for chronic cholecystectomy on the 21st.
Also experiencing lower left abdominal pain, like another ovarian cyst growing but pain is heighten. I've had over a dozen surgery's due to the cyst. Hard to breath, pressure on my chest for hours.... Do I need to go to the emergency room?

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. The symptoms like rapid racing heart rate with pulse of 110, aches in neck and arms, lightheadedness, faintness, weakness, difficulty in concentrating along with clammy feelings are occurring most likely due to panic attack. You already have history of stress and anxiety disorders. There are many serious medical issues. The panic symptoms are also associated with difficulty in breathing, pressure on chest so should not be ignored. I'd advise you to consult your psychiatrist or visit an ER for treatment. In severe panic medicines like Benzodiazepines as Lorazepam or Diazepam can be used to abort the attack. Some times in stead of oral medicines injectable are given for quick relief. When you become better then consult a psychiatrist and take proper treatment of anxiety and panic disorder.
Visit an ER as the symptoms are persisting.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Take care
