Hello,

Rough, red bumps and itchy skin is commonly due to allergies, oily skin, contact dermatitis, cleaning chemicals, certain soaps, or some foods that trigger bumps. Medical conditions that may cause such issues are psoriasis, rosacea, hormonal imbalance, lack of proper hygiene, etc. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene. Cleaning chemicals, certain soaps, or some foods or medicine may also cause such symptoms.

Take steam once a week so that the pores open and then massage with ice so that they close. Steaming is good for scars as it promotes healing of the skin. Take control of your diet, switch to pure vegetarian diet. Take plenty of fruits and veggies. Stay well hydrated. Use Selsun shampoo (anti dandruff shampoo), keep scalp clean, shampoo regularly. Dandruff triggers acne.

Use turmeric based face packs apply twice daily. Apply a thin layer of Betnovate C ointment at bed time on the area affected. You should not apply this ointment in day time. Bumps will decrease in 2-3 days. Take a course of doxycycline - 100 mg to get control over the acne. Get clinically examined by a dermatologist. You may be recommended laser therapy for better and faster effects. Stay away from addictions. Avoid constipation. Take laxatives at bed time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
