What Causes Rise In Heartbeats When Lie To Sleep?

Hi, my name is Ana, I'm 29 years old. I have 59 kg and I'm 1.63m high. For some time my pulse is higher, from 80 onwards. I know that is tolerated to 100 per minute, but it's strange when I lie down to sleep it beats over 80 per minute. I was at check up for thyroid and it was ok, my blood count is ok, kalium is on bottom limit but everything else is normal. My blood presure is 100/70 to 110/85.

I usually feel tired and sleepy. I was at cardio exam, my pulse was 89-90, normal heart beat and that is that. I started to smoke again but this things happend to me even before. Please tell me some answers or advices. Thank You

Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that considering your symptoms and your performed tests, your increased heart rate at rest could be related to anxiety. For this reason, I would just recommend performing regular physical activity and Yoga and take some potassium supplements.

Hope I have answered your query.
