What Causes Right Sided Lower Stomach Pain?
doctor my wife is suffering from severe stomach pain starting from lower right side. a doctor prescribed her ornidazole (may be the generic name ) orni500 in India. After she takes this she gets relief but after some time the pain re occurs . the is no effect of omzed. Kindly reply

Hi.
The Doctor prescribed Orni in the probable diagnosis of colitis.This is to kill some bacteria and if this is not working an antibiotic like cefixime may be necessary.
I would also advise to undergo ultrasonography to rule out appendicitis.
