What Causes Right-sided Body Pain And Difficulty In Moving Legs While On Methadone Treatment?
Concerned about 40 year old son on a regimented methadone treatment plan. Now he has little ability to move his legs, cannot hold himself up to walk, and extreme weakness on right side of body. Dr s told him his potassioum level is the lowest they have ever seen. He has had previous stomach issues in last 2 months (vomiting and diahrea and has been in hospital for IV fluids) Those dr s thought he had ecoli. The stomach issues seemed to resolve, but now he can t walk and is hospitalized. Any advice for what I could do to help?
You have not mentioned the diagnosis here, once the patient is in hospital then it is nothing to worry there he will be taken best care, if this is the neurological pathology so it may take long time to cure and all depends on the lesion in serious condition or neurological damage cure is not possible have poor prognosis, several things are there and that all needs to be taken care if the patient is bed redden, nursing care plays the pivotal role.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
