What Causes Right Sided Back Pain After Gall Bladder Removal?

I have had pain in my back (right side above the waist) for several years. I can deal with the pain through most normal activities but the rotation of my upper body when I golf causes a major problem. I have had my gall bladder removed and a recent Cat scan showes 11 surgical clips in the area of my pain. Is it possible that the upper body rotation causes muscles to drag across those clips and cause my pain?

I have read your history and i can assure you that it is not your surgical clip or your gall bladder surgery which is causing problem. It looks to me that your spine is getting lot of load when you play golf and that is causing pain in your waist. I would recommend you to see a physiotherapist and start back muscle strengthening exercises. once your back muscles will be strong your pain will be gone, till that time you can take muscle relaxant.
