What Causes Right Side Abdominal Pain After Hysterectomy?
Hi. I had a partial hysterectomy 6 wks ago (the only thing left are my ovaries). I have been experiencing this annoying discomfort in my right side. I had the same pain 3 wks after the surgery and it went away. After the 5th week in came back. Is this normal or should I see my Dr.

Hi dear thanks for writing to Healthcare Magic. Hysterectomy is one of the major operation and abdominal pain is commonest complication of it. I advise you to take painkillers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen for relief,hot water plates will be useful to. bed rest is advisable if problem persists consultant a gynaecologist once for examination.
