What Causes Redness And Bumps On The Corner Of The Eye?
For a week the area on my eye in the corner by the nose (whites of eyes) has been red. This morning when I looked closely it looked like two tiny bumps on it. I'm going to see an ophthalmologist but wonder if I can wait two week for an appointment. Could this be a tumor?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having redness and bumps on the corner of the eye. This indicates inflammation of the white part of the eye conjunctiva or cornea. This can be inflammation of the conjunctiva or sclera like conjunctivitis, episcleritis or scleritis... The treatment is by use of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics eye drops. This cannot be a tumor. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
