Hi, In the current scenario, I would ask you to choose a specialist who is trained in high risk pregnancies or who can manage such cases. If your attending doctor shows no concern toward your problem, please take a second opinion. The viability of the pregnancy should be established through a trans-vaginal sonogram. If there is any hemorrhage seen, the need to initiate hormone supplements must be thought of. Absolute bed rest, avoidance of all strenuous activity including sexual intercourse are mandatory. If needed, serial titres of serum beta-hCG may be taken since good progress of the pregnancy is seen when there are doubling titres every 2-3 days. Hope this helps.
