What Causes Red Spot In Eye While Wearing Contact Lenses?

I wear contacts and recently I found a red spot on my eye. It literally just appeared today, it hurt a bit but I proceeded to wear my contacts anyway. It was fine for a while and started hurting about 2 hours ago. I kept my contacts in cuz I had to drive home but now the right corner of my right eye is all mushy and red. What should I do? My eye vision without contacts is the same.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having a red spot on the white part of the eye. This is probably subconjunctival hemorrhage probably as a result of force used to insert contact lenses.
This will resolve by 3-7 days and no need toworry.
However you need to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and to rule out injury to cornea and other structures of the eye.

Thank you
With regards
