What Causes Red, Itchy Swelling Under My Eyes?

Hi. I went to the doctor on Monday as under my eyes was swollen, red and itchy. I was given conjunctivits eyedrops but nothing is happening. Can I stop the course of antibiotics half way through and get hayfever eyedrops instead? As maybe this could be the cause?

Hello
Welcome to health care magic
These symptoms indicate acute inflammation in the firm of conjunctivitis.
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops as advised by your doctor.
Along with them you need to use anti allergic and decongestants eye drops for symptomatic relief.

Thank you
