What Causes Red Itchy Eyes?
I presented a few days ago with red itchy eyes. My wife and I concluded that I had pink eye as it worsened and started secreting yellow puss. We had a bottle of polymyxin b sulfate and trimethoprim opthalmic solution from our children's previous pink eye. I used the drops for a day and woke up the next morning with a swollen lip. Is this a symptom of an allergy or is there a possible misdiagnosis and I have something else that combines these two symptoms?
