What Causes Recurring Pustules Along With Severe Itching And Warmth?

About 4 years ago I was bitten 3 times within an area of about an inch. There were two postules per bite. Since that time the exact same location the same pustules reoccur every 6-9 months. Area becomes very red and hot and then the six pitiless come back. Takes a long time to heal and leaves deep almost crater like holes. Very itchy. What to do to stop this? Is it normal for spider bites? I never saw the actual spider that bit me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is not normal that a reinfection happen at the bite side for 4 years. Possibly a cyst is created that gets infected often. I believe that you should remove it to surgeon.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
