What Causes Recurring Pain In Left Side Of Chest?

For the last couple of weeks I have been having chest pain on the left side. It comes and goes. I mostly noticed it at night when I was lying down. Now I am having it through out the day and it is lasting longer...it worsens when I bend down. Is this digestive?...it doesn't feel like heartburn.

Hi thanks for asking question.
Noted you have continuous Chest pain ...
First your physical examination done for auscultation and heart sound murmur...
Rhonchi or crepitation look for.....

Do you have smoking habit???
If yes then fibrotic lung disease might be there ....
Chest x ray done to rule out bronchitis , emphysema or any other obstructive lung disease.Pulmonary function test also useful.

ECG or echo cardiography done for rule out cardiac problem like heart failure like condition secondary to hypertension....

If no respi or cardiac cause then gastric causes or anxiety related pain searched for....

Hope your concern solved.
