i am30 yrs old female.weighting 100 kilo height is 5.5 .having 1 son .i had a misscarrige last year feburary.my heart beats fast.left hand was paining and pricks in middle of the chest.i had done ecg 5days back but it is normal.i have also done well women check up.everything is normal.i dont understand what is happening.
Hi welcome to HCM. These symptoms point to heart rhythm disturbances, which in most cases like this are benign. These are termed as missed beats or ectopics. They can be due to various factors like stress, overweight, excess consumption of coffee etc.Weight reduction can improve the symptoms.I advice you to have a 24hr Holter EKG monitoring, which can exactly quantify the rhythm disturbances of heart.Drugs like beta blockers and anxiolytics will largely help to control the symptoms. In resistant cases Radiofrequency ablation will offer permanent cure.Consult your Cardiologist for further queries. Thank you
