What Causes Raised Welt On The Lower Lip?
I have a raised welt on my lower lip that follows the whole length of my lip, forming a ridge. I ve never seen this before. I showed my husband. It s very odd looking, since it forms a long ridge. It reminds me of something exposed to salt and all the liquid was drained from area. I did take some ginseng earlier today.

As per your case history you are having a Pyogenic granuloma.
My treatment advice is:
1. Do not squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Other treatment options are cryotherapy and radio-frequency cauterization done by a dermato-surgeon.
