What Causes Queasiness, Light Headedness And Dizziness?

On and off for the past few years, I have had periods of queasiness that may last for 4-6 wks accompanied by light headedness or dizziness. A doctor suggested that I might be a coeliac but I have been gluten free for 2 weeks and many of the symptoms persist especially light headedness, I ate toffee today and feel wretched ever since??

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be nothing, but the Dyspepsia and it is most probably infection condition.

If I would be a doctor of this case, then I would try to treat with Tablet Doxycycline and Tablet Omeprazole. These drugs need to be taken for three weeks.

Try to avoid coffee, and for a headache, Paracetamol drug can be taken. It is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhussain
