What Causes Progressive Weight Gain And Leg Numbness?

I have been progressively gaining weight for the last six months. I have gained 15lbs but don t overheat. I am 52 and have been extremely healthy all my life and workout. I feel tired a lot and can t do as much as I want to anymore. I have had numbness in my legs- at the top of both legs and then it goes away within 10 mins. My feet really hurt lately and swell up after standing for an hour or so. My thyroid was checked 6 months ago and it was ok. I have high cholesterol but take nothing for it. Any ideas what s up?

Brief...your symptoms can be because of deranged blood sugar level,or deficiency of Vitamin B12 and lack of proper exercise and diet..

Detail...Dear there can be lot of factors causing these symptoms,but first you have to rule out some causes which are common factors for your symptoms..get checked your fasting blood sugar level and random blood sugar level,vitamin B12 level ...till your reports come you can follow some tips mentioned below..
1..As you wake up in the morning you an do Back exercise on bed,it will surely decrease your numbness.
2.Do brisk walk for at least 45 minutes ,at least 4 days a week
3.. drink plenty of water
4.increase fruits and vegetables in diet
5.Have a green tea in the night with one tsp of honey , half hour after having dinner.
6.Use jaggry instead of sugar.
7. Stop to eat heavy meals at a time , instead divide your meals in 6 meal plan.
