Hi. I was just curious about my son. He is almost 11. He keeps waking up at night wide awake. He thinks because he is sweating so much. Not enough to change the sheets. This has been going on this whole week. No fever and no other symptoms. His dad had Hodgkins Lymphoma at 24 and his great grandma had it in her early 30 s. Just curious. Not thinking it is that but night sweats always make us concerned because that is how we noticed his fathers.
As per his history is concerned first ruled out whether any infection present or not by doing a full blood count and record his body temperature every 6 hours and record it.next ruled out any heart and lung disorder do a chest x-ray and ecg.do a tuberculine test to ruled out tuberculosis present or not.next to ruled out NHL Do these tests- lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) liver function test (LFT) leukemia (ATLL) beta2-microglobulin level First you do it (Thanks)
