What Causes Pressure In The Ears And Toothache Upon Coughing?
Hi i have had a cold for about 8 days. Nothing horrible (runny noise, cough, no fever or chills, fatigue) but i have a terrible cough at night that is slowly getting better. here s my questions: my ears are full and when i cough my teeth hurt and my jaw bone (where the jaw comes together) also hurt. I might just wait it out or should i be concerned?
It looks like due to cold you have got infection in your sinuses leading to pressure in ears and pain in teeth and jawbone..
Pain in upper teeth and gums is commonly seen when you have a sinus infection that can be misdiagnosed with dental problems..
So you should consult a Physician for confirmation and he can take PNS view x ray to confirm the cause and treatment can be done accordingly..
If sinus infection is confirmed then you will be advised antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and decongestant nasal drops.. Home remedies like steam inhalation, saline nasal irrigation will also help..
Hope you get well soon..
Regards.
