Hi Doctor, I am 29 yrs Male. From last yrs I found lots of hair turned into white and a few on face and it s increasing rapidly. I consulted a dermatologist few months back, and he prescribed Karablac as supplement.I continued it for last 4 month. Even I used Altris gel , but no result as such. medically I hv no problem. Please suggest good medicine or treatment to prevent. Thanks a lot.
Hair greying is a natural age-associated feature. The term premature hair greying is used when it occurs before the age of 20 in whites, 25 in Asians and 30 in Africans. The primary causes are genetic, autoimmune disorders s such as vitiligo, pernicious anemia, autoimmune thyroid disorders, smoking and trace element and nutritional deficiencies. Treatment is mostly unsatisfactory. Nutritional supplements might help. Advice 1. Take foods rich in high protein such as egg, dairy products, cheese, fish, pulse fruits & green leafy vegetables 2. Do exercise in gym 3. Avoid excess tea and coffee as they contain tannins which prevent absorption of minerals 4. Stop smoking if you are smoker 5. Take any over the counter nutritional supplement such as capsule Revital – one capsule per oral daily for 3 months Thanks
