What Causes Pins And Needles Throughout The Body At Night?

I have had pins & needle along with pain thru out my body at night when I sit down for the day. Also have very sore/stiff joints (knees, elbows, all my joints) after I have been sitting for a few minutes. Mussle weakness at times during day. 60 yrs old female. Active use to ride horses until this started. Had blood test done, every thing OK except B12. Test showed deficient @ 15 (30 - 100) normal??? Started taking B12 2000 UI daily along with vitiams. I am outside daily so not sure why I am deficient? Could this be what is causing pain & pins/needles? Also have scolousis but have not had a huge problem yet. This just started about 2 months ago. My primary doctor said just take the B12 and come back in 6 months. I cannt wait 6 months with this condition. Thank you for your advice.

It could be due to neuropathic causes like peripheral neuropathy.

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Make sure that your blood sugar level is very well within the normal limits.
