What Causes Pinkish Vaginal Bleeding With Abdominal Pain?
Am I having a miscarriage I ve been bleeding a little more than a wee first it was light and pinkish blood a week in and just a few days ago the cramps have been really severe in my back and lower abdomen. My blood really clotty and thick. I have had a tubal litigation two years prior. My periods only last about 3 to 4 days normally and this has been going on for a week and a half now.
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Prolonged bleeding can be due to pregnancy or hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, or local lesions in cervix or vagina including cervical cancer , or any pathology in the uterus especially dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Pregnancy is rare after tubal ligation, however I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test to clear the doubt. If negative, then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
