What Causes Pink Urination And Diarrhea After Insertion Of A Pacemaker?

My dad recently had pace maker surgery on Easter sunday. He was doing good until the Dr changed his diabetes meds for his morning dose from January to Xigduo he took it thurs Fri and this morning. This morning 3 hours after taking it he began urinating frequently he has pink urine, diarrhea and I did notice sinus problems started yesterday. He was also complaining of chills a hour ago but it has gotten better. Can anything be done about the constant urination it s like every 10 to 15 mins also the the pink urine. He also started taking half a pill of Doxazosin along with his other meds can these 2 drugs be causing the problem.

@ Doxazosin is obviously going to give rise to frequency of urine as its
mechanism .
@ This means his body is not accepting the Xigduo molecule at its best,
immediately stop its consumption & ask your doctor for alternative
prescription .
