What Causes Pink Color And Discharge From The Left Eye?

Dear doctor, I had a previous eye infection in my left eye that spread to my right eye. My eye doctors prescribed a steriod antiobiotic drop to use for close to a week. Things improved greatly. Now a month or so later I have pink in my left eye again. When I wake in the morning my lashes seem wet with discharge, but not crusty. Sometimes when I use my typical glaucoma eye drop I get a white stringy discharge that seems to appear out of nowhere. My eyes feel a little sore and tired. There is no itching present. Do I have another infection again and if so what kind is it? Am I contributing to the problem somehow? Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic
I reviewed your history and this indicates infection of the eye in the form of conjunctivitis.
For treatment you are required to use antibiotic eye drops. Steroid eye drops should be better avoided as these may increase the severity of the infection.

Thank you
