What Causes Persistent Vaginal Spotting?
Hi, I m a 19 year old girl. I recently married, so I started the contraceptive pill 3 months ago. Recently I missed 3 pills, and I have been spotting old blood (with some pink/red) for over a week now. Is this normal? How long should I expect this to go on for? Thank you in advance for your help.

If you miss three tablets, the contraception failed and the risk of pregnancy is high.
The spotting you are experiencing may be from hormone imbalance caused by the missed pills.
