What Causes Persistent Vaginal Itching And Discharge?

Have been having diarrhea for a couple months every time I go to the bathroom, as well as itchy vagina and disacharge, I got a drug store medication but only seemed to help while I was on it and still getting the itchiness every now and then, I thought it was a yeast infection?

Hi,

Considering these symptoms it may be caused by STD if there was recent intercourse. Another causes include is decreased levels of estrogen.

If premarin is not helping then it can be related to decreased levels of Vitamin B12 or a mild nerve root compression at the level of sacral spine.

Keeping the area moisturized with peanut butter will also help. You can also start taking methylcobalaminsupplements and see if it helps. Please feel free to discuss further.

If there is no improvement, get swab test and it is fungus, take vaginal pessary and oral intake of flucanazole. Keep the area dry and clean.. Avoid excessive use of soap.
