Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Pain in multiple joints, back can be due to many reasons.
One such reason is rheumatic arthritis which is an Autoimmune disease that can involve the joints. The disease typically develops two to four weeks after a throat infection caused by streptococcus bacteria. Symptoms include fever, multiple painful joints, morning stiffness, etc. It is by antibody cross-reactivity.
Diagnosis of rheumatic arthritis can be made by elevated or rising antibodies level which are antistreptolysin O titre -ASO titre & invovement of 2 or more joints.
There is no cure for Rheumatic Arthritis, but treatments can improve symptoms and slow the progress of the disease. The goals of treatment are to minimize symptoms such as pain and swelling, to prevent bone deformity and to maintain day-to-day functioning. Following steps are to be taken
1.Regular exercise is recommended to maintain muscles strength and overall physical function.
2.Anti-inflammatory agents reduce both pain and stiffness in joints.
3.Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) are the primary treatment for rheumatic arthritis & should be started early in the disease as they result in disease remission in approximately half of people and improved outcome.
