Sir, My wife was diagnised as having TB Lymph... in the first week of Dec,2010.Biopsy of Lary.lymph on lower left side of neck revelaed it and there is no malignancy.



From 5.12.2010 she is on medication 1) Pyzinia 2) Combutol and 3) R-Cinex. She showed excellent improvement in first 10 days. Bur she developed severe rashes on her



body. Doctor advised to stop pyzinia. From 21.10.2010 she stopped Pyzinia. From 30.12.2010 she started getting regular fever, neck ache at back side and pain in front

side and pain while swallowing food.From 3.1.2011 pyzinia was started again. Ultrasound and High Contrast CT Scan of neck revealed that other two lympg nodes got



effected at central lower of neck. Pulmonologist said that it will be resolved as she is under medication and there is no necessity for any surgery. Mean while her



health detiorated, fever continued. within two days span she had regular vomitings of food and medicines and she was immediately admittedc to hospital on 12.2.2011.



LFT showed 279 of SGPT. Doctor siad that it is due to Drug Induced Hepatitis and stopped Pyzinia. She was given Streptomycin inj. and Computol tab. On 21.2.2011 SGPT



is 149. On 14.2.2011 FNAC was done puss culture result confirmed TB again. Other problems like vomiting, neck pain subsided after FNA but, fever is coming regulary.



Again on 22.2.2011 she was scanned by surgeon and removed the lymph gland as it was totally damaged and sent for biopsy test. FNA Culture report and Biopsy report are



awaited. NOW THE PROBLEM IS EVEN AFTER SURGERY SHE IS GETTING FEVER WHICH RANGES BETWEEN 101 TO 102 DEGREES. THIS FEVER IS THERE ON REGULAR BASIS FOR LAST FOUR MONTHS



EXCEPT FOR 10 DAYS OF INITIAL MEDICATION FOR TB. ALL OTHER TESTS FOR MALARIA, TYPHOID, THYROID, HIV, AFB ETC ARE NEGETIVE. YOUR COMMENTS ON THIF FEVER PLEASE. From 12.2.2011 to till day she is given streptomycin and combutol.I will be eagerly waiting for your comments.
