What Causes Pelvic And Back Pain And Brown Discharge During Ovulation?

hi, i have been having pelvic and back pain for quite some time and sometimes during ovulation i have a brown discharge and cramps. I have been diagnosed with pcos about 12 years ago and put it down to that. however...things seem to be getting worse. I feel very sluggish which seems to be 3 weeks out of every 4 and generally feel not right. I have avoided the doctors as feel this is just what I have to cope with being a cos sufferer. Could it be something else?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to hormonal imbalance or due to infection. A pelvic examination by a gynecologist followed by a swab and ultrasound might be needed to rule out the condition. In case of infection antibiotic therapy will be needed and if there is hormonal disturbance due to pcos metformin therapy and liraglutide injections might be helpful also. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
