What Causes Passing Red Stool And Diarrhea While On Nyquil And Amoxicillin?
I am on amoxicicillin, I took some nyquil at night also, can this be causing the red stool I have? I had diarrhea yesterday, it was not bright red, had more of an orange color I guess. But today it's Red. I am calling my doc tomorrow but just wanted some peace of mind tonight..

Amoxicillin and Nuqyil side effect is diarrhea and diarrhea can be the reason of red stool, the color of stool depends also by the diet you eat.
You should consult your doctor the possibility to replace amoxicillin with another antibiotic or just stop taking antibiotics and this recommendation is also for nuqyil.
If after the replacement of antibiotic the diarrhea goes on with red stool you should determine the cause of this going to gastroenterologist and make a feces culture.
