What Causes Palpitations, chest Pain And Breathing Difficulty?

So, I just got back from the ER. The ekg and the heart scan were fine. I'm still waiting on the ecg results. (I'm supposed to follow up with a cardiologist.) They are acting like I'm fine so far. But I have been having palpatations, chest pain, difficulty breathing, & sharp/dull pains in my heart for the last 4-5 months. And it's getting worse and worse by the day...and while I was at rest during the ecg, my bpm was always 95-110bpm. Any idea what might be wrong??? I'm too anxious to wait a couple days to follow up with the cardiologist(with my results).

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that palpitations can be because of anxiety disorder or underlying heart disease which definitely needs further evaluation.

Kindly get an Echocardiography and Holter (ambulatory ECG) for 48 hours to evaluate heart rhythm disorder and consult a cardiologist personally for a physical evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap
