What Causes Painless White Blisters In The Back Of Throat?

Recently I have had a yeast infection, around the same time of having the yeast infection I started to get white blisters in the back of my throat. I no longer have the yeast infection, but the blisters are now a yellowish color, getting bigger, and there are a few more than what were originally there. They are painless and aren t giving me any trouble but they re getting worse instead of better. Any idea what may be causing them?

Hi dear ,

As per your query there is white painless blister in back of your throat . The most probable cause of the white blister in the back of the throat is Tonsilolith . Your tonsils are filled with nooks and crannies where bacteria and other materials, including dead cells and mucous, can become trapped. When this happens, the debris can become concentrated in white formations that occur in the pockets. These are known as Tonsil stones, or tonsilloliths . Warm saline gargles will help to remove these stones . If they still persist then then they can be removed by ENT specialist with the help of small instrument .Doctor may order few test to rule out causes like Strep throat , Mononucleosis and Herpes . Doctor also prescribe antibiotics .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
