What Causes Painful And Brown Urination?
I am a 51 year old female in good health. For the past 24 hrs I have had pain while urinating and some blood or brownish colored urine. I also have a constant urge to urinate, but because the pain is intense while urinating it almost feels like it cuts off the stream. I m thinking urinary infection of some sort?Thanks much for your help,Michelle

The symptoms you mentioned are pointing towards some medical conditions.
1: Acute UTI.
2: Renal calculus.
3: Other Pathological conditions.
We need to evaluate it by some investigations as follows: CBC, KFT, Urine examination (microscopic/routine). Usg abdomen, pelvis.
You have to get it done for further management.
