ENT Specialist 's  Response
in my opinion you are having convalescent stage of pharyngitis, in it itching and pain remains in throat. I would recommend you have painkillers, antihistaminic, hot bath steam inhalation. another cause for is due to mucosal injury obtained by some dry rough food particle i.e. bone. if pain still remains, I would say you must visit ENT specialist nearby and get fiber-optic laryngoscopy done to find out any lesion which is bothersome.
