Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi Priyanka

I can understand the pain you are suffering from. I will give you a few remedies. You can sit into a large bowl or tub filled with warm water for about 20 minutes, twice a day. This helps to reduce the swelling and the pain and also keeps the fissure clean. Also eat diet rich in fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables to avoid constipation. Do not strain much while passing stool. If you are having pain even after these remedies, then you need to show your Surgeon. It could take 3-4 days post-operatively to examine the wound and discharge after the operation.

Wishing you speedy recovery.
