What Causes Anal Itching While On Medication For Anal Fissure?
Hi, For past two weeks I am in medication for anal fissure. It seems the fissure has started to heal; as the pain during bowel movement has subsided. But, now I am feeling itchy close to the anal region. Is it something normal during healing of anal fissure? please, advise. Thanks

Yes, in healing phase slight itching can occur. Keep that area dry and clean. Avoid tight undergarments.
For itching, the antihistaminic drug can be prescribed if needed. If no improvement is seen, then local part examination needed for further work up.
