Hello, Welcome to HCM I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query. I can understand your concern. If her pain has any association with movement of chest then it can be muscular only. If she has any other complaints like sweating or breathlessness, she should be subjected to an EKG, to rule out nay cardiac ailment. If she has cough and fever, it may be related to lungs. The best thing that can be done is to see a doctor, to pin point diagnosis for proper treatment. Hope this suggestion will help you. Good Luck.
