What Causes Pain In Upper Thigh Upon Standing?

I have pain in my upper thigh of my right leg when I get up after sitting for a long time.After few steps the pain subsides about 50%.The pain starts from upper thigh ( on outer side) till little below the knee.Please advise me some exercise n the cause of the pain . Thank you Sir

Hello,

As I see the muscle weakness leading to nerve compression so does the pain is radiating in nature. So reverse walking, core stability, static Quadriceps and static hamstring. This should help ease the problem.
